If in deed there is no love in the relationship leave now and focus on being a great father, your career, and be able to be friends with Elin. The last thing either of you should want in the end is resentment towards one another. Hey, you both tried, but don't make a monetary deal to keep your marriage. There is no shame in divorce, but there is shame in raising your children in a dysfunctional marriage. Speaking as someone who has also lost a father, I always reflect on what advice would my father would have given me.
