Democracy has utterly failed in the west.
Look at Canada where 40% of the people oppress the 60% majority with their banal and failed philosophies.
Democracy is hardly a system that can be advocated when western led wars of terror are based entirely on what resources can be stolen,
how high the west's aggression will push oil prices
and how much in tax dollars can be given away to arms dealers and fighter jet manufacturers.
Just like Canada, where our human rights record is simply appalling [On peut penser aux réserves indiennes et aux pauvres dans les rues.]
the west needs to get back on track and make democracy accountable to the people;
not just to oil companies and weapons manufacturers.

People need to be free in Syria and here in Canada too.
Our government is using heavy handed police violence against Occupy.
It's also repression. The difference is only a matter of degree..
