Your claim is supported by a recent poll. I would say that the three elections that were held across the country, and which elected governments that were in favour of continuing the mission in Afghanistan is a truer representation of the will of the Canadian people.
We're there until 2011, whether 52% of Canadians, at this particular moment in time, like it or not.
Give it a month and another poll will come along agreeing with the mission, the same way it did in Feb 09.
