RADIATION DETECTION WRIST WATCH: PM1208
It’s not too often that I wander into nuclear fallout zones, but in the event that I do, I’d want one of these: the PM1208 “POLIMASTER” Wrist Gamma Indicator Wrist Watch. Yup, you guessed it. This Swiss made watch has a geiger counter built-in that should steer you clear of any eye bubbling radiation.
You can grab it here for $370. $ 485 (livré à votre porte)

GAMMAMASTER WATCH SPORTS BUILT-IN GEIGER COUNTER
By Evan Blass
Unlike the Active Reactor Radio Active wristwatch (http://www.engadget.com/2005/04/13/active-reactor-radio-active-wristwatch/ ), which only pretends to detect radiation levels, the GammaMaster from GammaWatch includes a fully-functioning Geiger counter to keep you safe after the Commies drop The Big One.
Predetermined, user-defined thresholds let the watch know how much radiation you think you can handle before it's time to give a warning.
For those who will be traversing in and out of a hot zone, the watch measures both single-dose gamma ray levels as well as cumulative build-up.
And to prove that their product isn't bogus ala some gadgets you might find in the back of Popular Science magazine, GammaWatch thoughtfully offers to sell you small doses of radioactive material to ensure the accuracy of your $500 investment.

GEIGER COUNTER WATCH

Who cares what time it is when you're in the Hot Zone?
The GammaMaster watch has a built–in Geiger counter to tell you when you've had enough.

Just wait until someone explodes a dirty bomb somewhere — the company won't be able to sell them fast enough.
Click on the "Pictures and Video" link to watch a movie of how the watch reacts to radiation.
The cool thing about it is that it's always "on" so that you never have to remember to make it operational.
Or, as the website puts it, "You don't have to think about radiation. When the radiation level goes up the GammaMaster will let you know."

WHERE IS YOUR RADIATION DETECTOR WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT? - ON YOUR WRIST!
http://www.gammawatch.com/
More and more ordinary citizens are interested in personal radiation protection. Reasons include lost sources, nuclear accidents, nuclear or radiological terrorism and the possibility of nuclear weapons being used in a war.
By having a radiation meter built into your watch, it is always available. The GammaWatch Basic will notify you of the presence of radiation, even when you don't think of it.

RADIATION DETECTOR WATCH

Allows the wearer to continuously and unobtrusively monitor exposure to gamma radiation.
The detector displays the ambient dose equivalent rate DER(Surveymode) in microSv/HR, and accumulated dose equivalent DE(DirectReading Dosimeter mode) in milliSv. Dose and dose rate information is displayed in both analog and digital format, the display(LCD)can be backlit for visibility in low light conditions.
Audible alarms are incorporated to warn the wearer if preset threshold levels of gamma radiation dose or dose rate are exceeded.
The Swiss-made(Ronda763) quartz clock movement features analog and digital time display, alarm and digital calendar functions.A CR2032 battery gives the radiation detector approximately one year of continuous operation at background radiation levels, while the watch functions are powered by a seperate SR621 battery(bothbatteries included).
Operation of this device does not require specialist technical skill or training.

GAMMA MASTER WATCH
http://www.hiwtc.com/products/gamma-master-watch-3871-16924.htm
The GammaMaster is ideal for emergency personnel who may have to respond to accidents, incidents or terrorist attacks, which could involve radioactive material. The only way to be sure no radiation is involved is to measure it.
The GammaMaster is also useful for ordinary citizens. Each year, thousands of radioactive sources are lost or stolen. Most of them are weak and fairly harmless. However, a few are strong enough to cause serious injury or death. Often, the source has been dismantled and the only way of identifying the material as radioactive is with an instrument, such as the GammaMaster.
By having a radiation meter built into your watch, it is always available. The GammaMaster will notify you of the presence of radiation, even when you don't think of it.
